The Upper Court is the second-floor event space and sports bar at PickleRage Union County, 900 North Avenue, Plainfield NJ 07062. It's about 30 minutes from Newark, 45 minutes from Midtown Manhattan, and easily reached from Westfield, Scotch Plains, Cranford, Edison, and the rest of Union and Somerset Counties.
How many guests can The Upper Court accommodate?+
The Upper Court's second-floor event space can accommodate 500+ guests, with total facility capacity up to 600 depending on the event format. The space includes club-style social areas with fireplace, 10+ flat-screen TVs, a full bar, and access to the 18 indoor courts downstairs.
Does The Upper Court have a kitchen?+
An in-house kitchen is launching soon. The small-plates menu preview includes wings, sliders, flatbread, salads, shareables, and event-friendly bar food. Breakfast and cocktail menus are being added, and private events can still use curated New Jersey catering partners.
What is on the events calendar?+
The Upper Court hosts watch parties, leagues, trivia, and rotating programming alongside the indoor pickleball courts downstairs. Check the calendar for current events, or join us for open bar hours.
Can I just come in to eat, drink, or play?+
Yes. The Upper Court's bar and lounge are open to the public, and the pickleball courts downstairs at PickleRage Union County are available for walk-ins, reservations, and memberships. Membership is optional.
Is parking free? How do I get to The Upper Court?+
Free on-site parking. We're at 900 North Avenue in Plainfield, close to I-78, the Garden State Parkway, Route 22, and the NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line — central to Union County and easy from Somerset, Middlesex, and Essex.
